[v1.3] The Artblog of Kisaki

Yeah, yeah…

So it’s been a long time since i’ve posted… not like anyone looks at this anyway. Piffft. Just venting my frustration at being unable to remember the names of the five gods from Reman Mythology. There’s Rema (Earth element), Merofi (Water element), Felaxx (Fire element), and…. I just cant remember the Air and Lightning elements. >.<;;; So very frustrating!

I forgot to post on July 24th that Me, Mom, Sis, and Bro went to Circue du Soleil: KOOZÅ when they were showing in the twin cities area. Although the whole ting was amazing, my favorite act was “Roue de la Mort” or the “Wheel of Death”. My favorite costumes was from “La Danse des Squelettes” or the “Skeleton Dance”. Although we couldn’t take pictures during the show, I did get some of the masks they were selling. I also bought a Souvenir Program and a CD of the show. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to get them off of Mom’s camera and post them. I was so glad I went – it was well worth the money I spent! Some of the funniest parts were: 1) before the show, there was a lot of actors out and about pretending to be a part of the staff; one was a man (a janitor?) who did a variety of things, from making a lot of noise, to making a mess of the audience. 2) at the beginning there was a man “portraying” the rules of the show. 3) the naughty dog being… naughty to the audience. 4) the clowns and hand-picked audience getting electrocuted by the King. 5) one of the times the King lost control of his remote, a woman from the audience was startled to find that her seat was not stationary! Parents should note that this show is NOT meant for a young audience. There is a goodly amount of adult humor in the show, and I personally wouldn’t let anyone under ~15 years to go… not that they would understand the joke anyhow (I hope). Don’t forget the sense of ‘dirty’ humor the French have at times! [My apologies to any who are offended by this comment; I actually like ‘dirty’ jokes. The statement was meant as a way for parents to understand the type of humor they would encounter.] Boy, that was a good day! I don’t think it’s something I’ll ever forget.

Dissidia came in the mail today. Yay. To my surprise, it came with a mini-soundtrack. Well, I guess that’s a plus, right? I’ll probably start playing it tonight.

Huh… Dissidia makes me wonder who my favorite villains are. Sephiroth will always be one of my top faves. Kefka is just so insanely bizarre that I can’t help liking him too. (His SNES laugh is hilarious!) Kuja… well… I’m not exactly sure why I like him (her?), but his (her?) trance form is pretty neat. I find Albedo ‘fascinating’ but his perversions are a little disturbing. Mir, Mithos, and Riku I can really sympathize with. I also like Richter, Axel, Ultros, T-elos, Genesis, Biggs/ Wedge (FFVIII), Erim, and probably more I can’t think of.

Darn. I missed Smoking Gun’s World’s Dumbest… again.
